Wii U
Continuing from my last post, I will give detailed overview of the Nintendo Wii U. To begin the Wii U was first unveiled at E3 2011 just last week, so this information could possibly be subject to change but the console is excepted to released sometime in 2012, not very much more info on the release date is available, but when it is I'll inform you. The Wii U is capable of producing 1080p high definition graphics, which is a huge step up from the Wii. However Nintendo will be dropping the backward capability for Nintendo Gamecube games, which is hunky dory if you own a Wii or Gamecube, that's about all the info I have on the Nintendo U, here are the specs, taken from wikipedia, and maybe subject to change...

I have really liked Nintendo (more of a Sony fan) that much, so I'm not really that impressed. Still interesting, though.
ReplyDeleteSeems like the more proprietary stuff they add to their consoles ( all this motion business)the less 3rd party support they'd get, though nintendo pretty much survives on 1st party content anyway. Good post!
ReplyDeleteWii U offers some great features.

ReplyDeleteI'm afraid I don't quite see it...so it's a more powerful Wii that has an interactive screen built into the controller?
